This site has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. Like any web server, it may keep standard access logs (such as your IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
The desktop app
- Everything you enter is stored in a database file on your own computer. The app has no cloud service and does not send your data to us.
- Your sign-in password and, if you turn it on, two-step sign-in are checked on your PC.
- Any AI key you add is stored encrypted using Windows data protection.
- The data file itself is not encrypted. Use your Windows account security and disk encryption (such as BitLocker) to protect it.
The optional AI coach
If you add an OpenRouter key and ask the coach a question, a summary is sent to OpenRouter and the model provider you chose: totals, category names, and the names you gave your goals and bills. Account numbers and passwords are never sent. Free models may log prompts, so keep sensitive details out of names and notes. Without a key, nothing is sent.
